Product developer comment:
Why does a staff line ruler not exist?
When writing music we use music paper, but when we are learning about music theory we use normal notebook. This is because we take notes, and so it is more useful to hand write the staff lines when we need them. To draw a staff line, it would be easy and neat if there were a guideline so I decided to produce a staff line ruler. At first, I started by a simple experiment of cutting out a straight-line space on a plastic ruler. This was not successful; the distances between the lines were narrow and the staff lines were not in balance. After many experiments, I figured out that by having a slider it would be able to draw a nice horizontal line with even spaces, For the final product, I added a stopper, and made six holes on the slider so that it can also be used for guitar tabs. I wish the LINESLIDER would be useful for your music learning, and I am excited to see any one of the users becoming a musician.
